Of Hampden, formerly of Springfield on Oct. 7, 2007. Beloved wife for 63 years of John T. Haley, Jr. formerly of Springfield. Mother of John K. Haley & his wife Susan L. Haley of Holliston and Marylou Straub & her husband James Straub of San Diego, CA. Grandmother of Patrick Haley of Providence, RI and Daniel Haley of Holliston. Visitations on Fri, Oct. 12, 2007 from 2-3 PM followed by a Service at 3:15 PM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd, (off rte 30) WAYLAND. Interment on Mon, Oct. 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial gifts in Evelyn's memory may be sent to the Residents Activity Fund, Mary Lyon Skilled Care Ctr, 34 Main Street, Hampden, MA 01036 would be appreciated. Prior to her retirement, Evelyn taught German for many years at Elms College in Chicopee.
