Dear Jen,
I know you won't be able to read this, but I have to write it anyway. You were a dear friend to me. I got to know you in high school, and we shared a lot of good times. Unfortunately, I lost touch with you around 2002, but I never forgot our times together. I remember driving to Worcester with you and getting lost on the way back. I remember how you were obsessed with Mardi Gras, and how you wanted to be a firefighter. I remember when you got the green Pontiac, and I remember driving it around with you in the passenger seat. I remember you getting me coconut ice cream from Icecream-Works by the bucket. I still have the picture you snapped of me in front of your house.
I was trying to get back in touch with you in 2006 and 2007, but I never was able to find you. Now, I only just coincidentally stumbled upon your obituary, and was shocked. I don't know what happened to you, but I am so saddened by your early death. It was all too soon. You were there for me when I needed you, and you were a wonderful friend. I will never forget you. My deepest sympathy to your family on your loss.
