Janine was the most perfect that I could have gotten in a daughter, there isn't a moment or an hour that doen't pass that I am not missing her my words cannot express the pain and despair I live with- trying to live without her.That's all I am doing is trying to live and it's not so easy,especially these days when it comes around the time of her passing. Janine's heart was so big it took in everybody, the good the bad and the ugly and she cared for them all. I know she was a brave and fearless girl so I know she is meeting her new life head on always trying to make a difference. Just knowing that makes me so proud to call my self her mother. It just doesn't help me miss her less...

As 10/8 approached, I realized that it was one year to the day that we lost a beautiful, kind-hearted person and its still hard to think about. I know that you are looking down on us while we pray that you are resting peacefully. Miss you girl!

Its been a year now. It still has not settled in my mind or heart that your not with us today. I wish God would have gave us more time with you, I was not ready to lose you. janine babygurl even though its almost been 4 months i still feel like it was yesterday we was hanging out and it all ended. i still feel the same pain as before. everyone says it will get better but i dont think it will. but i just hope u look out for me down here and stay close to bizzle and my papa. i love you as if u were my sister and wish u were here with me. love always ur tisher.

We didn't get to talk or see each other much but I can't believe that you are gone. It is hard to grasp the thought that such a beautiful person is gone from this world but, as I said the day I got the news, another angel was called home. God wanted you home for a reason and I know that you are at peace. Watch over all that loved you and I'll see you when I get there.

Janine was a beautiful person on the inside and out. I can't believe that she is gone. We both rode the bus to Bedford together until I graduated and we lost touch, which I deeply regret. Janine, I can't believe that I will never run into you again at the Boston carnival or talk to you on Facebook. It saddens me that your life was cut so short at the tender age of 18 and I will never forget you.
To Janine's family, my heart goes out to you and I will keep you in my prayers. May God bless you all.

Janine befriended Olivia at a particularly difficult moment for Olivia, and for that I will always be grateful. Olivia said she was such a spunky and fun person.
