Jane Roundy Obituary

Age 84, of Marblehead, departed peacefully at the Lafayette Convalescent Home, Marblehead, surrounded by her sons. Mrs. Roundy, who was a long time resident of Marblehead and native of Arlington, MA, she eternally, joins her late husband and former Ipswich High School teacher/coach Chester Elliott Roundy, Jr. with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Mrs. Roundy is survived by three sons; Eric James Roundy and his wife Laine of Woodbury, CT; Samuel Elliott Roundy and his wife Sara of Simsbury, CT, and Thomas Chapman Roundy of Marblehead. She was the loving grandmother to Marguerite of Richmond, VA; Peter, Kate and Michael of Simsbury, CT; and Daniel of Marblehead. She was also the loving aunt to William, James and Virginia. She will be lovingly and fondly remembered by her many cousins and close friends. Jane's memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 12PM in the Old North Church, 35 Washington St., Marblehead. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Town of Marblehead, Elliott Roundy Grandstand Fund, Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St., Marblehead, MA 01945.
