Cynthia Hornstra Obituary

Of Hingham, Oct. 17th, 2007, age 85. Wife of the late Edward O. Hornstra. Mother of Deborah H. Adkins of Shrewsbury, Peter E. Hornstra and Elizabeth L. Stoddard both of Hingham. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, Oct. 20th at 11 AM at the Hingham Congregational Church, 378 Main St. (Rt. 228), Hingham. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. Rather than flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118 or Doctors Without Borders, 333 7th Ave., 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001. The interment is private. For additional information, please visit www.downingchapel.com.

Cynthia was someone who cared greatly for others. Her home cooked foods were greatly appreciated by her friends. Cynthia was an angel on earth and I will miss her. Hopefully, she is dancing with my mother in Heaven! My condolences to her family.
