Ingunn Sturlaugsdottir Obituary

65, of Wellesley, MA, died at home Monday afternoon, October 15, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Beloved wife of Haukur Thorgilsson. Loving mother of Svana Lara Hauksdottir of Natick, MA, Katrin Hauksdottir of Kopavogur, Iceland; Helga Margret Hauksdottir of Boston, MA; and Haukur Johann Hauksson of Ohio. Inga is also survived by 11 sisters and brothers in the United States and in Akranes, Iceland, where she was born, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Inga will be dearly missed by all. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 20, at 4 PM at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington Street, Wellesley. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
