As a friend of Judy and a childhood friend of the Caliva Family in Dewitt, New York I mourn the loss of a wonderful person and great friend. Stopping in West Newton for flowers and speaking to Judy about her family in the Boston area and her mother, brothers, and sister I grew up with in the Syracuse area was often times the highlight of my week. I know Judy's mother, brothers and sister and add that Judy and her family are among the kindest people I have ever been fortunate enough to know in my lifetime.

As another West Newton Business we were fortunate to have known Judi since she first opened her shop.
Her artistry in her work with flowers has been well known for many years. You could always count on her for the perfect flower arrangement for any occasion. Even more important was the care and concern she always showed for those around her. She always had a smile but never more than when she talked about her children.
We feel very blessed for having known her.

From the day she opened Flowers on the Square, Judy became a friend to so many in West Newton. As one of her first customers, it was a pleasure to follow her personal life as well from marriage to the birth of her two much-cherished children. She loved sharing stories of Nikki and Christopher.
