The memory photos are so delightful.
As you know your mom and dad were
very dear friends of ours.We have many fond memories of our times spent together in our early years of
dating and marriage. They are missed.

A message of condolence to the Bassett family from the Upton family. As friends and neighbors we wanted to take a moment to say that we are very saddened to learn of Mary's (your Mom's) passing. Mary was always so kind and pleasant and a pleasure to see always with a soft warm smile. Mr & Mrs Bassett and family will always be remembered as wonderful folks who made the Mineral St neighborhood what it was to us, a great place to raise a family. Peace and many fond memories of your wonderful parents will be forever yours. - Bob & Marguerite Upton

Hello My Dear Cousins,

One of my family's favorites meals is Welsch Rabbit, which your wonderful Mom made for me so many years ago. She must have done something wonderful to have deserved such loving and devoted children. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lorrie -
Thanks so much for the eMail pointing me to this GuestBook; it's nice to read what every has to say about your Mom.
Lynn and I were really moved by the memorial service for her, and were glad that we were able to attend.
I don't see the pictures "of Mom and Dad" that you referred to; maybe I'm just not looking in the right place... they must be her somewhere.

Take care -
-Kevin (and Lynn)

Chins up my cousins! Your Mom fought a courageous and valiant fight against the ravages of diabetes and age. I marveled at her strength and courage. All parents would be blessed to children such as the four of you to look after them in their old age. Know that you are loved and that Aunt Mary suffers no longer. She is with Uncle Ken and the rest, preparing a place for our eventual arrival someday. Rejoice in that!!

"My Mommy", I will always miss you and continue loving you. You were a wonderful Mother and great person. I am happy you are no longer suffering and you are reunited with Dad and many other loved ones. Be at peace and know we will all look out for one another. Go now and dance with Dad, talk with your Parents and walk with Jesus...your baby, Lorrie
