To my Nena,
To say that you were the best grandmother one could ever have is so trite and such an understatement.Your wonderful impact on my childhood and adult life was monumental to who I am now.I got my love of dogs, flowers, gardening, decorating and so much more from you and my basic positive attitude about life is also due to you.I would have liked to get your knack for neatness and organization, but Mel got that. I always understood why little things such as a simple flower arrangement in a tiny vase on a window sill brought you such joy. It does me too and will forever remind me of you.
You so enjoyed family, friends, and your house. I loved and will miss your humor. You took such pride in yourself and everyhing you did. I always loved when you came to my house. I loved to cook for you and make you happy. You always appreciated every little thing that anyone did for you. I have always been so proud of you and would often boast to my friends about you. Everybody that knew you would say to me "your grandmother is so incredible".It will be painful at first, but I promise always to keep a beautiful garden in your honor, although I will never be half the gardener you were. I hope I always make you proud and need to believe that you and my beloved daddy will look down and kind of help me out from time to time, no matter what I go through in life.
love you,
your Jen Jen
