Ana DaCosta Obituary

Of Medford, October 23. Beloved wife of the late Manuel J. Afonso. Devoted mother of Maria Carvalho of Florida, Armandina Morais of Somerville, Victor Afonso of Brazil, Olinda DeSousa of Canada, Manuel Afonso, Ana Cerqueira both of Medford, and the late Jose Afonso. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and 14 loving great grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be sent in Ana's name to Massachusetts General Hospital, Oncology Department, Development Office, 100 Charles River Plaza, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
