Of Malden, Oct. 25th, beloved wife of the late Lawrence A. Overlan. Devoted mother of Kerry L. Overlan and his wife, Helen of Melrose, Lawrence A. Overlan and his wife, Sheryl of Canton, & Kevin B. Overlan and his wife, Deborah of No. Reading. Loving sister of Jack Hardy and his wife, Elaine Hardy of Derry, NH. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Matthew, John, Mary, Elisabeth, Alex, Margaret, & Brian as well as six great-grandchildren. Rita is also survived by her nephew Stephen Hardy & her niece Susan Westhaver. Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. MALDEN on Mon. Oct. 29th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 660 Washington St. Revere at 10 AM. Interment will be held privately. Larry:
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved mother. Please accept my deepest condolences. We have been rather busy ourselves recently. It is somewhat worrying to think that soon we will be that "oldest generation". I have faith that your mother rests in the hands of the Lord Himself, beyond pain and suffering. God bless you and yours at this very difficult time.
