With my deepest condolences: You don't know me, but I was so touched by the flyer left on an informational board here at work. My heart was broken for your family and this little boy Dylan. I am a father myself of a young child and it really hit home. I hope you don't mind my reaching out- if there is ever anything at all I can do for Dylan, please let me know. I know that is what Jason would want more than anything else, because that is what I would want if I were to pass. God bless you all and take comfort in the gift you are providing to Jason every day ,by taking good care of his son.

I love you all and can't even begin to describe how heartbroken I am for all of you. As you know, we are all here for you if you ever need anything. I couldn't have asked for a better "protector" than Jason. I will miss him. Make sure Dylan calls me every once in a while to check in when I'm back in San Diego.

Barnes Family,
As you know, the Barnes and Burkes have many great memories from the neighborhood and in every story, Jason was one of the main characters. He was one of the funniest people I knew and as Jarred says: He was the king of one-liners. I'm glad I got to make memories with him and will miss hearing "Jason Barnes-isms"! He was a unique character and I'm so glad to be able to call him my friend.
