Mrs. Monahan,
My name is Carl Proia and I worked with John at Hood's until he left to go to work at Raytheon. I ran the route next to John in Newton he ran in part of Newton and Waltham. I would see John every morning before we hit the road. I was looking for him at Quarter Century in Sept. but must have missed him. John was a great guy and co worker. Sorry for your loss.

We will miss John. The entire neighborhood suffers a loss w/ John’s passing. He was a kind, gentle, and thoughtful man. Always generously willing to help others w/o hesitation. His constant smiles and friendly waves to his neighbors shone w/ bright and cheerful warmth.
