To the Rioux children,
It was good to see you at your mom's wake and a privilege to be there. Your mom and dad were special people (and your dad, so funny), but I especially thank your mom for staying so close with mine until her death. Mother's are special so cherish the memories and smile at the good ones!

"The time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will award to me on that day"....II Timothy 4:6-8.
To our dear Rose Rioux journeying now to meet the Savior whom she served all of her life I say a hearty Bon Voyage! I'm sure she is hearing the Lord say well done good and faithful servant!
During all of my growing up years I remember that the names of Rose and Arthur Rioux were spoken frequently and always with love and respect in our home. The busyness of our two families and so many children in each did not allow for a lot of time together but the times that we did share will always be sweet in my memory. I thank Rose also for the steady care, love and concern that she always maintained for my own precious mother. Those two were special cousins. My heartfelt prayers are with all of the family at this time as your mother has gone off to her eternal reward.
Love,

Bob LeClair

It has been my honor to have known and been related to the Rioux family. Rose lived her life to the fullest. Arthur was the greatest, as well as his mother, who was my great aunt.
My most sincere condolences to all the children, grandchildren, etc. etc.

The family of Rose Rioux loved her with all of our hearts and will miss her greatly. We will carry on with the thought that she is in a better place, with no pain or sorrow, and is side-by-side with her beloved husband, Arthur. She is looking down on us all and smiling, and especially on Susan, Marie, and Francine, the three of her daughters that gave all they had to taking care of her and made sure she had everything she needed since the passing of Rose's husband and towards the end.
