Mary E. Maloney

85, wife of the late Thomas J. Maloney, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Meriden. Born in Dorchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Peter & Margaret (Nichols) Brady. She had resided in Meriden for the past 47 years. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Mercy High School as a secretary. Mrs. Maloney was parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She is survived by three daughters, Judith Kleist of Meriden, Mary Anne Maloney of Meriden and Peggy Leger and her husband Paul of Middlebury; a son Peter Maloney of Meriden; nine grandchildren, Sheila Tice, Andrea Gregg, Deirde Kleist, Shannon Maloney, Erin, Kevin and Meghan Leger, Riley and Regan Maloney, one sister Ruth Flynn of Westwood, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas M. Maloney. The Funeral will be held on Friday, November 2 at 9:15 am from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., MERIDEN, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
