To the D'Errico, Lisio and Christiansen families,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I deeply regret that I was unable to be with you at this time but know that my heart and thoughts are with you. Nana was a strong, kind, loving, generous woman. She was always trying to take care of someone and I believe now she is a guardian angel who is watching over everyone. As kids, she once told us grandkids to hush or the dragonflies would sew our mouths shut, as an adult, I believe dragonflies are free spirits, who represent love, happiness, peace, freedom, hope and tranquility. As granparents, parents, aunts, uncles, siblings and children, we are always on the go, rushing around, so the next time I see a dragonfly, I will believe it is Nana, telling us to hush, take a moment and appreciate what we have and everything around us, embrace the love and cherish the memories. I am grateful that Nana was a part of my life. She is part of who I am today and I will always cherish that silly statement and smile. No words or deeds can take the pain away, but time and cherished memories will make it easier. So hush, and take a moment....
Love,
Lisa
