Elizabeth Butterworth Obituary

Longtime resident of North Attleboro, formerly of Lawrence and Charlestown on November 3, 2007 at age 81. She was the beloved wife of Fred Butterworth. In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children and their spouses: Fred T. Butterworth and his wife, Diane of Dartmouth; Linda A. Kallstrom and her husband, Bill of Florida; Catherine D. Raymond of Forestdale; William Butterworth and his wife, Elizabeth of North Attleboro; Claire E. Parlee and her husband, David of Cumberland ; James J. Butterworth and his fiance, Jean Gendron of Riverside, RI and Mary Ann Parlee of North Attleboro; Two brothers, Joseph Doherty of AZ and Clement Doherty of NY; a sister, Jane Burke of Falmouth; 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was mother of the late Elizabeth Jane Vacher and sister of the late Rita Cadigan and Henry Doherty. Funeral from Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, NORTH ATTLEBORO on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass in St. Mary's Church, Park Street at 11:30. What a beautiful service. It was a moving tribute honoring Bette. The love and respect that was showed towards her is truly a blessing. She touched many lives and our memories of her will live on with the stories that will be told to the younger generations.
