To Frannie's family,
My sister Erin forwarded me this sad notice and though I haven't seen Frannie for probably 35 years, I have such clear memories of her as our favorite babysitter when we were growing up on Vernon Young Drive in Plainville. I can picture her clearly as a teenager who seemed so grown up as I only hoped I'd one day be ... she would often do our hair for school dances, have us come to her house for a "comb out" , advise us on what to wear and so forth. She was a wonderful influence on me and my sister Erin. Just thought I'd share a thought with you about what a wonderful girl your mother, aunt, grandmother etc. was even BEFORE you were around.
My prayers and thoughts are with you at such a sad time -- and I'll always remember Frannie.
With sympathy,
Pat O'Brien

TO MY WONDERFUL COUSINS AND THEIR FAMILIES, SO SORRY ABOUT THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM. SHE WAS SUCH A GREAT PERSON. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL AUNT WHO I ALWAYS ADMIRED. SHE RAISED 6 KIDS AND LOVED THEM SO MUCH. SHE COULD ALWAYS MAKE ME LAUGH. "HONEST TO GOD." REMEMBER THE LANZ NIGHTGOWNS, THE FAMOUS STATION WAGON, HER ENORMOUS MARY POPPINS POCKETBOOK, HER TRENCHCOAT OVER THE NIGHTGOWN, HER LEAD FOOT, HER WONDERFUL COOKING, HER ABILITY TO CHEER THE SADDEST SOLE UP, HOW SHE WOULD TALK ON THE TWO KITCHEN PHONES AT ONCE AND MANAGE TO FEED ALL THE KIDS!!!! BOY, I COULD GO ON FOREVER ABOUT WHAT A GREAT PERSON SHE WAS. SHE IS HAPPY WITH LARRY AND SHE WILL WATCH OVER ALL OF YOU FOREVER. I WILL NEVER FORGET HER AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND ADMIRE HER. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.
