Catherine Bowen

Of Marblehead & Beverly, age 88, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Bowen. Mrs. Bowen is survived by her family: son Thomas J. Bowen & Betsy Jenney of Boston, and his former wife Jill Bowen of Marblehead; daughter Margaret DeCamp and her husband Jack of Salem; son Peter Bowen and his wife Sandra of Marblehead; son F. Richard Bowen and his wife Margaret; son David Bowen and his wife Anne of Swampscott; son Frederick Bowen and his wife Margaret Jackson of Maryland; daughter Nancy Geraghty and her husband Tim of Marblehead; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the Margaret Freehill and the late Francis Burnes. Her Funeral will be held from the Eustis-Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm St., MARBLEHEAD on Saturday at 10AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 85 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead at 11AM. Private burial in Worcester will be at a later date. Visiting hours will be on Friday 4-7PM.
