Beloved husband of Linda (Magee) of Medford, on November 5, age 65. Loving father of Elaine R. Abbott, David E. Abbott and Susan M. Abbott all of Medford. Devoted brother of Virginia Abbott of Plymouth, Linda Jenkins of Uxbridge and the late Robert Abbott. Cherished grandfather of Jacquelin Carstens. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. His Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Ave., MEDFORD, Friday, at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Vietnam Army Veteran. Donations in Richard's memory may be made to the Charity of your choice. Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
