William Falvey Obituary

79, of Fall River, formerly of Boston, died at home Saturday, November 10, 2007 after a long illness. He was the widower of Natalie (Putniki) Falvey. He was born in Boston a son of the late John J. and Marion (Welch) Falvey and had lived in Fall River for the last 5 years living most of his life in Boston. He was a painting contractor. Mr. Falvey was a W.W. II Navy veteran and enjoyed whittling and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include a son James Warren of Boston, 3 daughters: Janet Warren of Rockport, Ann Warren of County Claire, Ireland, and Patricia Cloutier of Fall River, 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Marion Warren and brother of the late John J. Falvey, Jr. and Marion Falvey. General memorial service to be held Thursday at 7 PM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River. Donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care 502 Bedford St., Fall River, MA 02720. Mr. Falvey,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
