Dear Redmond Family. We can't tell you how saddened we were to hear about Amby's passing. He will very much be missed by all he touched. He was a friend and mentor for many of us who had the good fortune to work with him at MetLife. Our heartfelt sympathy is with you all, and our prayers and thoughts are with a Marilyn for a full recovery. God Bless.

I have come to know Amby as a vibrant presence at Paul Jr's annual parties. He was a charming, handsome gentleman who exuded a natural warmth and joy by his very presence. My deepeset condolences to his family whom he adored. I will miss his sparkling Irish eyes at Paul's party.

Dear Redmond Family:
My deepest and most heart-felt sympathy on Amby's passing. When I first started in the Group Insurance industry 18 years ago, I had the extreme good fortune of being hired by MetLife where Amby was our Vice President. Working with Amby taught me the importance of loyalty, doing the right thing, and always treating others with kindness and respect. I will forever be indebted to Amby for these invaluable lessons and I consider myself very blessed for having known him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,
Melissa (Graham) O'Brien

Marilyn, a bright light has gone out, with the demise of one Amby Redmond. The times we shared as residents of Van Buren Road and an occasional visit to Pocasset will always be remembered. And who could forget the "The Dirty Dozen" , our wonderful gourmet group? Someday we'll all be together again.
To the younger members of the Redmond clan,Kathy, Kerin, Jay and Greg, you surely are proud to have had a dad such as Amby. You are blessed.
Our sincere condolences to all of you.

Yesterday's sad news made it a very dark day, but then last night I saw a bright, new star in the Florida sky and I knew he was okay.
Our wonderful memories of this extraordinay man will bring us all comfort in the days ahead.
While I can't be with you during these most difficult days, my thoughts are with you.
Lots of love and my deepest condolences.

Marilyn, Kathleen, Kerin, Jay and Gregory,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this message, yet I have only happy memories of Amby...trying to win a buck from him at Locust Hill...watching him pacing the driveway outside Mercy High School ten minutes before going on stage, trying to master the lyrics of his song...
He was a great guy and although we have not seen you folks for too many years, Mona and I will miss him...
Get well soon, Marilyn, you are in our prayers...
All our love,
Mona and Bob Betterton
