Nancy Mahoney. The definition of unconditional love. Nancy and I worked together for many many years. Nancy never let me know how sick she got. I received a loving note from her daughter today to inform me that Nancy passed away. I cried but then I thought no, Nancy would not approve! Be strong. They broke the mold when they made Nancy. I never knew anyone like her and I dear say I doubt I ever will. I so wanted Nancy to come to FL to visit with me. She is with me now in a different way. Nancy will live on in each one of her children-the chain of life as Nancy and I would say--hopefully without the lumps and bumbs! Nancy always said: see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil,-- a woman of her word! Nancy will spend this Christmas safely home in the arms of God. I will miss her compasionate brown eyes and her gift of warm and loving smile. Till we meet again, Nancy you will never be forgotten. Love to her family proof positive the wonders of a mom doing it all, being it all, and always happy doing so. Follow her example you can never go wrong.

To All Who Knew and Loved My Mother,
Your sentiments are heart warming. I hold on to the memories of how special my mother always made me feel. My wish for you is that you also hold on to that memory because you were special in her life and she will always shine her bright light on you.
My life will never be the same without her but I thank GOD everyday that he gave me the chance to love and learn from her.

Ma Mahoney,
You let me into your life and your family when I needed you most.
You always made me laugh. You are one of the few that could "shock" even me! I miss all our "chats".
But I am still going to talk to you when I need a friendly ear or even a kick in the (whatever)
You are so loved by friends and family. You will continue to touch our lives forever.
You will ALWAYS be in my heart.
love ya,
Effen Debbie

Our favorite memory of Nancy is when we first met her she wanted to show us her "mouse tattoo", neither of us could believe that we could fall for something like that especially from this sweet innocent ANGEL. We met Nancy when we worked together at the Malden hospital, she was always smiling and laughing and enjoying life. Missing you!!!

I worked with Nancy at the Malden Hospital. She was always happy, smiling and dancing about. She talked about her family all the time. I remember how excited she was when she became a great grandmother. I talked to her months ago and as usual she sang me her signature song...I cherish that last phone call and feel honored she wanted to say hi to me...

Beloved family of our dear Nancy: In the 30 years since your mother and my mother became the best of friends, I have had the honor, joy and privilege of knowing and loving this wonderful, remarkable woman. I've learned so much from her with the simple yet direct way she lived her life with such eloquence: always encouraging and loving, always positive and sincere, always so very generous with whatever it was she had to give, be it a place in her home, or her empathetic ear, or a bowl of macaroni made with love. She was the epitome of a beloved child of God: caring, peaceful, loving, big-hearted, happy, hopeful, truthful, accepting, courageous, open, honest, funny, sincere, insightful, and always willing and ready to try something new. I am grateful for the many gifts of love, laughter and togetherness we shared. Her absence leaves an unfillable void in our lives, but we’ve each been forever enriched by our times together: those special glimmering moments of pure joy, of connectedness, of true love and happiness. We will all miss her, but I know that in our hearts and minds, she lives on in Love Eternal; that she is in our thoughts and memories always. Love never dies. Sweet Angel Nancy, my heart of love to you on your journey ~ Michael

The memory of Nancy will live on in our hearts forever. The grace and dignity with which she carried herself throughout her illness is an inspiration and says so much of the person that Nancy was. She will be most dearly missed by all who loved her.

My sincere condolences to all of the family, Nancy was so full of life and I know how much she loved traveling whether it was foxwoods or California she loved being on the go and she liked having fun. I remember her as a fun/loving person. Nancy had more life in her than most people in their forties. I thought she was a wonderful person and I am sure she will be missed.
To Nancy J, I know how close you were to your mom and I am so so sorry for you. Just know that she is in a better place and in the arms of GOD watching over you now.
RIP.
