Of Chelsea, formerly of Saugus and Malden, November 17th. Devoted husband of the late Marjorie (Dunn). Son of the late Joseph E. and Louise (Meuse) Surette. Father of David M. of Lynnfield, Donald P. of Saugus and John F. of Dorchester. Beloved brother of Mae Santomango and Phyllis Buckley both of Malden and the late Marceline Henderson, Edmund, Joseph and Francis Surette. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Tuesday morning, November 20th at 10 o'clock. Visitation with the family beginning at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. Late United States Navy Veteran of WW II and retired employee of the Boston Gas Co. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his name may be made to the Chelsea Soldiers Home, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150 or to The Boston Home, 2049 Dorchester Ave., Boston, MA 02124. Mr. Surette,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
