Of Arlington, November 18, 2007, age 40, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of Makrouhi Haroutunian and the late Joseph. Devoted brother of Liza Dorian and her husband David. Loving uncle of Gregory and Lori Dorian. Companion of Robert Manganello. Funeral Services at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 145 Brattle Street, Cambridge on Saturday, November 24 at 10 A.M. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, WATERTOWN, on Friday, from 4-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Armenia Tree Project, 65 Main Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or Mount Auburn Hospital, C/O Nurses Education Fund, 330 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Cambridge. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington

I looked forward to seeing John on Mondays at Dana Farber. We would get treatment together. He was a strong person who brought me great peace and courage. I will miss him terribly. May John be enjoying his place in the Lord's Heavenly Kindgom.

Johnny is at peace now and his suffering is over. My sorrow is comforted in knowing how happy he was last time I saw him. My heart goes out to all the family and friends who will miss him that they may too be comforted in knowing that he is in Heaven.

I'll miss john as a co-worker and more as a friend I'll miss our daily ribbing of each other each morning as he came to work with his grocery bag full of food for the day. I'll miss most his drive and determination to live a normal life and beat anything thrown his way. God bless John
