Age 85, life long resident of Brockton. Entered into rest November 19, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Russell T. Stone. Devoted mother of Emily Goldsmith and her husband David of Keene, NH, and Janice Goldstein and her husband Gary of Andover. Loving sister of the late Hyman Stillerman. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Rote, Daniel Rote and his wife Ya Ya, Matthew, Abbey and Laura Goldstein. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington St., CANTON, Friday, November 23, at 2:00 PM. Memorial observance will be at the home of Janice and Gary Goldstein, Saturday beginning at sundown and Sunday 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mimi may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for Research, 10 Brookline Pl. West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445. I was so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. Growing up on Silver Road just 2 houses away, I must have had as many meals at your house as my own. We were together just 8 months ago at my mother's funeral and Miriam looked like she never aged. I can only remember all of those good times and special family events.
