Of Lynn, Nov. 27, age 89. Wife of James J. Pappas. She also leaves a son John J. Pappas and his wife Edla of Billerica, a daughter Ella Alexander and her husband Alec of Lynn, 5 grandchildren, Sandy Donovan and her husband Rick, Peter Alexander and his wife MJ Duffy-Alexander all of Lynn, Karen Alexander of PA, James Pappas of Billerica, and Andrew Pappas and his wife Lesley of Fitchburg, 3 great grandchildren Christopher and Katie Donovan and Brendon Duffy, a brother in law Chris Pappas and his wife Frances, of CA, a sister in law Helen Pappas of Mexico, and 2 cousins Bea Zagouras of Boston, and Gail Lambropoulos of Lynn. Funeral on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Solimine Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) LYNN, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. George Ladies Society, 54 South Common St, Lynn, MA 01902, or your favorite charity. Directions & guestbook www.solimine.com

It is always difficult when you lose someone you care about...
I know there are no words to ease the pain, We only met Alice once at Katie's birthday party and she made quite an impression on us. Spending time with her family has proven to me what a kind and giving person she must have been to have created such a close, loving family..You're lucky to have had someone so exceptionally special...
