I read a few of the entries and it stirs up a few of the old memories of the easy days. From Winter Gardens Rink to Gunrock Beach where we played Stick ball, V-ball, cards, and the old game of "Buck Buck" (see who remembers that one). Bobby is in many peoples memories! God Bless.

To the Ferriter Family:
Was deeply saddened to read of "The Rock's" passing. Having watched Bobby grow into a superb athlete and having spent lots of time at the Ferriter home in Hull, I felt connected to all the Ferriters during our Little League days and well beyond. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Bobby was a good friend, We will miss him, but we have great memories. Driving to Thayer each day keeping our brothers in line. Winning the very first Private school cup with a great team as co- captains. We then both went to BC he was always the best player where ever we played. An it was an honor to speak for him when he was intoducted in to the hall of fame. It will be 35 years ago that we won that cup this year, how time flys. We will miss bobby but God just got a great center for his team.

Rob, Ryan, and Stephen,
I am so very sorry and deeply saddened for your loss. Your father was the very first person I met, so many years ago, moving into BC. We remained good friends throughout our 4 years there and many years after. Everyone loved "Bubba". He was a wonderful friend, kind, caring, and fun. I will cherish my many memories of him. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

To Bubba's family. I am very sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great friend of mine at Boston College. We loved to talk about hockey and I don't think I missed a game in our 4 years there. He told me when his 1st son was born it was even more exciting than winning the Beanpot! I am sorry our plans to meet this year at the BC reunion didn't work out as I would have been very happy to see him and share many of our fond BC memories.
I will always think of him as a good and kind friend.

Bobby,
Deepest sympathy to your family. My thoughts are with them.
I'll never forget the wiffle ball, street hockey, and touch football games in your back yard. Who could ever forget the hockey games(and hockey fights complete with pulling jerseys over your opponent's head) on Strait's Pond. I still have great memories of our summers at ""MIT" (Minelli Institute of Trash) and all of the terrific times there.
God bless.
