Florence Butterfield Obituary

Of Braintree, died on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Florence was born in Dorchester on July 10, 1914. Daughter of the late Eugene D. and Delia M. (Malloy) Butterfield. She lived in Dorchester until moving to Braintree in 1958. Florence worked for New England Mutual Life Insurance in Boston for 25 years in the Investment Dept. and retired in 1978. Beloved sister of Ann T. Tripp of Norfolk, the late Julia K., Mae E., Albert L., Eugene D., William B., and Elizabeth H. Butterfield. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., WEYMOUTH LANDING on Friday, Nov. 30 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Thursday, from 7-9 PM. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
