In Revere, at 84 years, on Nov. 28. Beloved husband of 60 years to Edith F. (Beck). Devoted father of William R. Brown Jr & wife Patricia of Winthrop & Stephen R. Brown & wife Patricia of Derry, NH. Cherished grandfather of Revere Firefighter William R. Brown & wife Karen of Danvers, Kelly A. Lecomte & husband John of Melrose, Stephanie E. Peach & husband Mark of Burlington, Amanda M., Michelle E. & Stephen P. Brown all of Derry, NH. Dear brother of Mary Diamond of Dracut & the late Francis H., Walter & Robert Brown, Katherine Divver, Barbara Clougherty & Lorraine Kibit. Also lovingly survived by 4 great grandchildren & his sisters-in-law, Margaret C. O'Halloran of Charlestown, Mary E. Doherty of Dorchester & many nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rt 107) REVERE on Monday, Dec 3 at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours are Sunday only 4-8 PM. Parking available in the lot left of the funeral home. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Late WW II Navy Veteran & member of Int'l Typogrphical Union - Local 13. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to All Care Hospice, 16 City Hall Sq, Lynn, MA 01901.

Mr. Brown,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
