Age 83 of Millis formerly of Dorchester and South Boston, December 5, 2007. Beloved wife of the late John P. Ward (LT BFD). Loving daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Flaherty. Loving mother of John P. Ward (LT FFD) and his wife Joan. Loving Nana of John P. Ward III and his fiance Pilar of Brighton, Timothy, Jennifer and Christopher Ward of Millis. Loving sister of Helen Stanford of FLA, and the late Anthony, John, Mary, Joe and Catherine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Monday at 9:00AM. Funeral Mass in Blessed Mother Theresa Parish at St. Margaret's Church, Monday at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Interment Knollwood Cemetery, Canton. Former member of the South Boston Mothers Club, Castle Island Association, Third Order of Mary and the Prayer Group of St. Augustine's Church.
