I met Mr. Connaughton several times when I was in college with Whitney--we lived across the hall from each other Freshman year and were friends and roommates ever since. He was so fun, gregarious, welcoming, spirited and lively -- and not someone who held back an opinion! Which I admired about him. Like I said. Lively. It has been almost 20 years since I have seen him and I'm sad those few times were the last. He was a big guy with a big heart who made a huge impression on me.
My very best to Mrs. Connaughton, Whitney and everyone in his big family. I'm saying a little prayer for him.
