Of Melrose, Dec. 8. Beloved husband of Arlene (McCune) Young of Melrose. Loving father of James E. and his wife Elizabeth Young of Marston Mills, Ellen Anne Hegarty and her husband Paul of Melrose, Elizabeth A. D'Ambrosio and her husband Sean of Chelmsford. Brother of the late Kenneth Young. Nephew of Kathleen Lane of Lincoln. Cherished grandfather of Camden, Albertina, Meagan, Camille and Grace. Funeral from the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High St., Medford Square, MEDFORD, on Friday at 12 noon. Visiting hours Friday 10 a.m. thru 12 noon. Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in George's name may be made to the Saint Frances House, 39 Boylston St., Boston MA 02116.

Our deepest condolences from Rachel Young and family. Always remember when George made up his mind to do something, he just did it, no excuses. And he was always a very loving grandfather to my kids. He will be missed.
