William Kraft Obituary

Of Boston, on Sunday, February 23, 2003, of a brain tumor, at 28. Beloved son of Dr. Gail (Kaplan) and Arnold Kraft of Weston. Loving brother to Jonathan, Karen, Elizabeth & Steven. Dear grandson of Florence Kaplan of West Hartford, CT. Graduate of Weston High School and the University of Pennsylvania. Worked as an Internet Analyst. Generous contributor to the Jimmy Fund. Services at Temple Reyim, 1860 Washington Street, Newton, on Tuesday, February 25 at 12 noon. Interment at Beit Olam Cemetery, Wayland. Shiva observance will be at the home of Gail and Arnold Kraft. Evening services will be conducted Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in his memory may be made to: Patrick Wen, M.D., Medical Director, Center for Neuro-Oncology, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, SW430D, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115. Arrangements by the Levine Chapel, BROOKLINE.

I was friends with Will in college at Penn - we were in the same fraternity but different years. I knew that he had become sick, but lost touch. I just learned about his death, of course many years ago now, but it saddens me deeply. I can honestly say he was one of my favorite people in the fraternity, a truly nice guy, & I'm very sorry for your loss.

I was blessed with knowing Will and working with Will. I hired Will while at Gomez and he worked for me during his time there. I think of him and speak so highly of him often. His laughter and sense of humor are unmatched. He was so dedicated and enthused with his work and loved hanging out with us! I will never forget him. I will celebrate his life and cherish the fun days I spent with such a good guy named, Krafty." I will keep him in my mind and heart always.
