Thanks to everybody for your kind and most heart-felt words of love and caring for our dear sister, Carol. So many of you came to the funeral parlor and to St. Patricks for her funeral service. What a wonderful tribute to a life well lived and shared with so many family members and friends.

She will be dearly missed by all of us, but the beautiful memories of Carol are carried forward in her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

I used to work with Carol many years ago at the mall. She was always a ray of sunshine and was like a second mom to me during the years we were together.

She will never really be gone - she lives on in each and every one of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find peace in the days ahead.

To friends and family of my grandma,

Grandma meant alot to me. And I know it seems unlikely that a grandchild can be so close to a grandma, but believe it or not, I was.

Grandma was my friend. She always was someone I could talk to about anything and really open up to. It was always after I had talked to her that my day was a little brighter.

If you knew Gram, you knew she was always smiling, day-in and day-out. Smiling every day of every week of every year, no matter the situation.

Well I could go on about stuff I loved about her, but being a teen, I dont feel like writing an essay.
My deepest thanks and love goes to those who wrote in this guestbook.

I love you all, and I pray for all of you.

You know when was up to buffalo,i went to see aunt Carol on Sunday[mar16] I could not have picked a better day,as im sure alot of people can tell you,she was so happy and up beat ,laughing and smile ling as she always was.And i told her how beautiful she was.I guess i was expecting her to look like someone who has been sick, but she told me she had made peace with knowing what was going to happen and was going to make the most of everyday she could. And as anyone one can tell you.aunt carol was smiling till the end.I hope someday i can be as loved and cared about as she was and still is.may she rest forever in peace.for she will be forever loved by all.

An Angel is what she is to me
That's what she was truly meant to be
As her time on earth has past
Her memory will always last.

She was put to the ultimate test
Now it's time for her to rest
So as she goes
Heaven only knows

That she was more
Then you or me
Because an Angel is what
She was truly meant to be.

Dear George and Carol's Family: How blessed our life has been with Carol in it. She had a special gift of listening and helping people through whatever they were going through. Our lives have been enriched by her wonderful outlook on life, eternity and the world.. I know she will still hear when we need some of her sage advice and let it be known to us. Our blessings and prayers for strength to all of her family and friends

Nancy, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know the pain you are feeling now, and hope that you will be able to find strength in knowing you were able to be with your Mother through this ordeal, and know that my feelings are shared by all from the OcuMel List

My Mom was a great friend and she will be missed by all who knew her. I am comforted knowing that she is in a better place and out of pain. She would want us all to be in peace knowing this.

I wrote this poem 25 years ago when I was in the Army and lived in San Antonio. I missed her so very much then and now it is just so hard to believe she is gone forever.

For as long as I can remember,
You were always by my side.
To give me support
To give me confidence
To give me help.

For as long as I can remember,
You were always the person I looked up to.
So strong
So sensitive
So pretty

For as long as I can remember and still today you are everything a mother should be.
For as long as I can remember you always provided stability within our family.
Full of laughter
Full of tears
Full of love.

Whatever I have become is because of you and I thank you for our relationship.
I miss your thoughts
I miss your words
I miss your actions

But, knowing that we share our feelings, even though apart,
It is as though you were with me now.

I love you Mom! We all do.....

From "Ode to Carol", written for her "17th" birthday...

Carol always tried to spend quality time with everyone,
She said she loved us all and that will never be undone.
She loved and gave with all of her heart.
When God made Carol, He made a true work of art.

We're going to miss you, "mom". Thanks for including us in your family. We love you.
