SAAD-Alex G. March 22, 2008, of Town of Tonawanda, NY, beloved husband of Jean M. (Slavin); dear father of Diane Giangreco; loving grandfather of Alex, Adam, Samuel, Nicolas, Anna and Bernadette Giangreco of Clarence, NY; brother of Lillian (Angelo) Armatorio, Francis (late Palma) Saad and the late Florence Henderson and Charles Saad; also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Family will be present on Wednesday 4-8 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr. (at Parker) where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Amelia Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda at 9:00 AM. Alex was an active and devoted member of St. Amelia Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and usher, a retiree of Pepsi Cola Bottling Co., and served in the U.S. Army in Italy during WWII. Alex will be very much missed. We looked forward to talking with him whenever the occassion would arise, in the driveway or over the fence. He was a very pleasant man and we are all the richer for knowing him.
