WALF-Elizabeth L. (Gelonek) "Bette" April 23, 2008. Wife of the late Robert J. Walf; dear mother of James (late April), Nancy (Randy) Donn, Marian (Thomas) Iak and the late William Walf; loving grandmother of Alicia, Amber, Joseph (fiancee Rachel) Walf, Amanda, Michelle Iak and Jacob Donn; sister of William (Cynthia) Gelonek of Redding, CA; sister-in-law of Donald (Dorothy) Walf; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME, 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Andrew's RC Church at 9:15 AM. Interment Grandview Cemetery, Batavia, NY.

My deepest and sincere sympathy to the Walf family. I had the pleasure to meet Bette at Riverwood. She was the sweetest lady I have ever met. I'm glad to have gotten to know her if only for a short time. She touched many hearts there. My thoughts and prayers are with her family
