Things have been kind of crazy lately between gram, dad, and maria all being sick. I know that you are watching over them and that eases my mind. The beauty of this site is the fact that your loved ones can continue to express their love to you , their thanks to you and , of course , the feeling of loss and sorrow of you being gone . But so many memories will always be with us , keeping you living in our hearts .
I love the fact that this site allows us to share our memories of you with all of your loved ones. I love the story Shannon told about the cherries. Like Shannon I loved hearing it too .
I have a little story to share .Every time I visited you would tell a story about me and my brother Billy when we were real little kids. When we had play time I would pretend I was Aunt Betty , Billy was Uncle Harry . I would pretend to pack him a lunch and send him off to work . When I think about that memory , I close my eyes , and I can almost hear your voice telling the story .
I regret that our families didnt see each other fpr so long but there was never a doubt about the love we all shared. ( thank God we talked on the phone )
Please give my Mom , Grand Mom , and Grand dad a hug and kiss for me .Please do the same to my Dad and brother.

Dear Uncle Harry,
I've been thinking about my Gram all day today. With that being said, I remember time I would ask her to tell me the story about why she doesn't like cherries...
The time dates back when you guys were in you very younger years. Your Mom told Jeanne to take his brother to get a haircut...
So with said, on their way to the baber shop my Gram had sum cherries in a jar (this is where u come in Uncle Harry) My gram (your sis) she was sitting a barber chair eating cherrries. You walked over to the chair she was spinning her around and around and around.
Needless to say it ws ur turn to sit in the chair for your haircut and my Gram had to go outside and (BOOP) they all came out.. I used to make her tell that story to everyone over and over. Last August I told her to tell the storey to my daughter Erin..
I used to love the way her face lit up when she wad talking about Uncle Harry..
I just wanted to share that with you Uncle Harry, and to the rest of the family that would like one of my many memories!!
I dont think she ever ate another!!!

I hope you and aunt Jeanne are getting caught up on things,its amazing how fast life goes by until you lose someone you love so much,the truth is ,somehow i thought we were exempt from the heartache of losing you,, but each day that passes brings memories of you that make me smile,laugh and cry.

Dad, words cannot say how i feel those last few years where very hard but we got through them, i will never forget our talks they meant the world to me! I miss you so much we grew closer than we ever were as Father and daughter so in a way your illness was a blessing because it gave us a chance to say things we may have never said like I love you those words were so wonderful to hear i know you always loved me your actions spoke volumes !I will treasure the times we really connected on a deeper level i miss your whistle i still cant hear a bird sing and not think of you!I will see you again some day but until then know your always in my heart!

Uncle Harry, I bet you and mom are talking about old times and I also wonder if my dad is in on the conversations. I rememer that you use to call him Ricky because when you knew him he like to drink gin rickys. At least thats how I remember how the story went. I sure regret not taking the time out to see you when I came back to Buffalo to visit my mom. Please forgive me for that. I will always be thankfull for the time you took us all in even with all of familly that you had at home. I will always be gratefull for that. You and Aunt Betty treated us so well even though I know it had to be a strain. I know you know that you were loved by me and all my family, love you Unk. PS. Hug my mom for me.

I can remember and evening when my daughter went missing for 2 hours and all the neighbors went looking for her the last time we all saw her she was on Mr Duchenes porch never thinking to look in the cat house until she popped her head out she had been in the cat house on the porch playing with the cats Mr. Duchene look over and their she was he starting yelling for me and we all went running to him and their was my daughter in the cat house i will always remember that Mr. Duchene u will be sadly miss by everyone that new u u were a great person to know

Uncle Harry,
I can remember the last time I saw you. It was in April of 1988. You couldn't believe that it was me, Shannon all grown up. I have many memories of you and Aunt Betty watching me when I was little. You guys were always making sure I had enough to eat and would watch me for hours doing cheers. (Fire cracker fire cracker boom boom boom) I know in my heart that you are now pain free, walking the streets of gold above with all your family and friends that have passed before..

My heart goes out to Aunt Betty, my cousins and the rest of the family. I know how sharp the pain is when you lose someone that you love so dearly.
I have fond memories of sitting around Uncle Harrys kitchen table and listening to him tell stories about he and my Moms growing up years. These stories were told with humor and lots of love. He was a loving and gentle man and I know he will be sadly missed.
It was so sad that , because of health and physical disabilities , he and my Mom could never get together. Thank God they had their phones and were able to keep in contact with each other.
I believe Uncle Harry is now in heaven with my Mom and their Mom and Dad . He will suffer no more pain or problems that we have here on earth. Our faith teaches us we live again in heaven reunited with our loved ones. Take comfort in the fact that you have this wonderful man looking out for you from above.
