Annie Smith Obituary

SMITH - Annie M. (nee Bostick) June 26, 2008. She was born May 2, 1930 in Ellerbe, NC. She retired from GM Tonawanda after 30 years. She was also employed at Lancaster Motor Speedway. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 40 years Morris Smith; loving children Edwina B. Lowe and Freddie J. Nixon (Mary); grandchildren Freddie M, Tamika, Ashton and Cheyanne; great grandchildren Freddie, Jr, and Nan. Family to receive friends Thursday 11 AM at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 160 Kingsley Ave. Funeral to follow at 12. Arrangements by BRIAN K. LEWIS FUNERAL HOME.

Anna, you are truely missed. I know you are watching over your family and that you will make sure they are safe. I never did thank you for all those talks we had. I wish I could have called you mom and it was for real. You will always be in my heart.

Annie was a very special lady who will be missed greatly!!!! I will always remember her. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I have nothing but love for them all. If you ever need anything, I will be here.

My deepest condolences to Annie's family. I worked with Annie at GM Tonawanda during the 1970's in the camshaft department. Annie was always laughing, having a good time & making everyone around her smile . Every so often after the camshaft job & we all moved to different departments or shifts we would still run into each other on occasions. Annie was always a joy to see. I last talked to Annie within this last year & am happy that we got that last opportunity to share some memories.
Thank-you Annie for always being a friend & always being "Annie". Rest in peace, GOD Bless you & your family.

To the Smith Family please accept my deepest sympathy. I worked with Annie at GM in the 70's,in the Camshaft deptartment ,she was so much fun,a caring "LADY",AND COULD SHE COOK ! Annie,Delores Marsch,and Betty Belfield,would bring in the best lunches for us ! Rest in peace Annie. God Bless you.
