Mom, Today we celebrated YOU and Jan's birthday. You were the greatest mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. You were the best cook, baker, party organizier and the one that kept us all in line, you were the backbone of our family. Now we have to go on with you as a memory. We are trying so hard to keep things like before, but there are still many tears and that pain in our hearts, because we miss you so much. I hope you were there today watching over us. Thinking about you, and missing you. Your firstborn, Karen

I cannot believe that it has been a year already since you left us. There has not been one day since then that I have not thought about you or cried because I miss you dearly. You will always remain in my heart and forever a part of my life. Love and kisses ALWAYS !!

Mom, I love you and miss you so much. I can't believe it has been a year already. I know you would be mad if you were to see me now. My home is so empty without you here. It no longer feels like home..... just somewhere to lay my head and cry. I am trying to live some kind of normal life but my heart is having a hard time moving on. Love you bunches and bunches...
