Mary Dottavio Obituary

DOTTAVIO - Mary T. 74, of East Amherst, NY, formerly of Aliquippa, PA passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2008. She was born October 20, 1933 in Aliquippa a daughter of the late John and Eleni Tselepis and was a member of Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, where she was a member of the Ladys Philoptochos Society. She was also a member of the Aliquippa Senior Citizens Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lucio DOttavio; a daughter, Elaine Moore; three brothers, Theofan Tselepis, James Tselepis and William Doc Tselepis; three sisters, Josephine Tiki Doulos, Sophie Vallese and Audrey Tselepis. She is survived by a daughter, Denise Francani and her husband Enrico, East Amherst, NY; six grandchildren, Adria Francani, Elisia Francani, Rhea Francani; Zachary Moore, Gregory Moore and Christopher Moore; three brothers, Steve Tselepis and his wife Helen, California, PA; George Tselepis and his wife Helen, Vienna, VA; Aristotle Tselepis and his wife Teta, Rhodes, Greece; a sister, Angie Palmerine; many nieces and nephews, including, Helene Reilsano; Conrad Tselepis, Elaine Tselepsis; Nick Tselepis; Cindy Tselepis; Paul Tselepis; Johnny Tselepis; Flora Kosmos. She is also survived by many family, dear friends and neighbors. She was known as Yia Yia to everyone and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2pm 5pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Service at 10am in the Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Aliquippa with Father Andrew Clarke officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Aliquippa.

Dear Dee and family,
Upon returning from Colorado, I saw in the paper that Mary had died on July 10th. My prayers and sympathy are with you at this time of loss. I pray that your memories of Mary will keep a part of her alive with you each day. May God be with you and yours.
