To Pete, Frank and Greg-I only just found out about the passing of your Dad. My husband Nick works at Casey (also semi-retired and has the same job as your Dad) and read the notice on a bulletin board. Pete was one of Shane's first Baseball coaches for Lou Gehrig. I was team Mom at the time. A fun and laugh filled year (except for when Shane, the catcher, lost his front tooth when a player was warming up outside of the batters box and somehow Shane got the bat in his mouth!) I remember your Dad frantically looking in the dirt for Shane's tooth! Our paths crossed again about 8 years ago when I temporarily left my job at Maple East to work at Dodge. It was a nice surprise to see him there, retired from his job as Nick was and doing the same job as Nick. We caught up briefly, swapping Grandchild stories. We are both saddened by your loss-he was so proud of you "boys".

He hung out with my Uncle Bob Privitera, and we all called him "Uncle Pete". He use to deliver bread and baked goods when I was a kid living in East Buffalo.
My thoughts are with his Family.

To all of those Pete loved so dearly, I want to express my deepest sympathy.
Pete was a wonderful, fun loving guy. He was my brother's best friend, but they loved each other like brothers. When my brother Bob died 17 years ago, part of Pete went with him. They are together now, side by side and watching over all of those they love so dearly. We will miss them, but they are in our hearts for ever and always.
May God Bless you all.
Lorraine Lindell, Bob Privitera's sister.

Please accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts. When I was younger, Pete was like a big brother not just a cousin. People pass on, but their memory lives on in our hearts.

Greg and Maria,
Matt and I were so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. You are in our thoughts and prayers...
God looked around His garden and found an empty place.
He then looked upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arm around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your eyelids, and whispered, "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you Home.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do, and lets get together soon!
With deepest sympathy, God Bless,
Matt, Heather, Gillian & Owen Smith
