Chuck and family,
Mary Lou and I offer our deepest condolences on the loss of your father. I know from personal experience the emotional strain that comes from losing a beloved father after watching him suffer through a long illness. The emotional toll is intense and I pray that God will give you and your entire family the strength that you need to endure the loss.

I send my sincerest sympathies to Mrs Weiss and family. Dr Weiss was my doctor for the last four years. I was devastated to hear of his illness, and now his death. He was a great man, and an excellant therapist. I will NEVER forget him.

I worked with Charlie for 17 years at the Mental Health Clinic at the V.A., up until 1998. He was an excellent, dedicated clinician. He would come to me to discuss patients we shared, with recommendations-I learned a lot from him. Among his clinical talents was a great sense of humor, and he used it with patients when indicated, which helped them. Also we had some good laughs together. I admired his dedication and will miss him as a colleague and friend.

Charlie was one of my first mentors during my undergraduate years that he later continued in graduate school. He provided invaluable support and guidance with compassion, insight, and his own unique sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dear Cathy and Family - We are so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He was such a dear, quiet yet funny gentleman. We will miss him at our annual LCLC retreat, but his memory will be with us forever.
We thank God that He promises Eternal Life for those who believe. Charlie was a quiet but sincere Believer.
With sympathy, love and hugs,

I knew Dr. Weiss, although he told me to call him Charlie, back in 1979 and then some. He was my greatest mentor and I loved him. Quick with wise advice and wit, he taught me some of the most important things I know. I taught him to drive a standard (on paper, believe it or not)! I send my kindest thoughts to his family; the world would be a lonelier place without him, if not for all of you. Bless you all.
Warm regards,
Dr. Eloise A. O'Brien

Saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Weiss. He treated my husband at the VA for many years, and it was my pleasure to meet Dr. Weiss several times as well. He was a compassionate man, very desirous of seeng his patients do well, and we will remember him fondly.
We were sorry to hear he was ill, and express our deepest sympathy at his passing.
God bless Dr. Weiss and comfort his family.
