To The Family of Josh
What a truly sad day for anyone that knew Josh, your son and brother. He will never be forgotten and truly missed by all of us at Tim Hortons. Josh was an amazing young man, a pleasure to be around, even when he was "crabby", it never took long before he was smiling that bright, beautiful smile. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. If you ever need anything, just ask, we are all here for you.
God Bless all of you!!

I was given this "Indian Prayer" a few years ago and I thought it may comfort anyone who reads it today as Josh is layed to rest.
Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the soft star shine at night
Do not stand by my grave and cry
I am not there I did not die.
God Bless you Josh, You will be in our hearts forever.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I know words cannot express nor take away the pain you are feeling, but know there are many out there who have your family in their thoughts and prayers.
Having known Josh for many years through my daughter, Kristin, I can tell you he was an absolutely amazing person who had so many extraordinary talents. He would come over and play the guitar and no matter if I was busy or not, I would always sit and listen to him play. And his humor; no matter if I were tired or in a bad mood, just that “mischievous” look in Josh’s eye or the way he could make you laugh so effortlessly, would completely turn your mood around.
Even though he is with the Lord, he will live on in a special place in our hearts forever. I am so touched he shared a part of my families’ lives.
And as I think of Josh right now – I can picture him impressing and teaching the Lord some of his Karate moves!
My thought and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time.

Cecil, Lydia, Cecil, and Joel,
I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear of the passing of Josh. I remember him running around the house, playing different instruments, and calling me Uncle Steve. He will truly be missed - He is with GOD now.
Love,
Steve

Josh, or hfdkjdfhdsjkfhd as I had nicknamed you (haha) I cant even begin to say how much I'm going to miss you. You were one of my favorite people to talk to. The only person I could trust to keep my secrets. We always had the best conversations, no awkward silences allowed. I can honestly say I will miss you and think of you all the time.
To the Greene Family, Josh was a wonderful person that should make you proud to call him family. I can guarantee that everyone he knew will miss him dearly. Thanks for aiding in who he was! I will never forget him!

Dear Greene Family:
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son Josh, it was a great shock. I met Josh at ECMC this year when my son Jason was there at the same time for therapy.
Josh was always such a nice and respectful person when we would see and talk with him. We saw him all of the time at Tim Hortons and he always had a smile on his face. I am so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
