We extend our deepest sympathies to Lillian, Donna, Barbara, Robert Jr. and their families.
I have known Bob since the early 1940's. We walked to grade school every day and sat in the same class. Everyone looked up to Bob. To show our reverence, we called him "Big Bob".
Bob had incredible energy and enthusiasm for life. He helped everyone whether it was helping to repair their automobile, appliance or house. He seemed ageless and was able to accomplish herculean tasks.
Bob had a strong sense of honor and dedication to family and friends. He was always willing to travel to help.
Bob, I will remember you forever and will cherish the 2nd grade class picture dated December 1943.

Our deepest sympathies to Lillian and Bob's children and grandchildren.
I'll miss Bob enormously. I loved sailing with him, which I've been doing now for three years.
His esoteric knowledge of all things was really enjoyable as we exchange facts of little use to anyone (but we thoroughly enjoyed sharing them together). His skill and knowledge at sailing taught me how to be a sailboat sailor! I'll miss him deeply.
And while his journey to the other side came too soon in life, it started peacefully while doing something he loved. Although this may not seem so at this time to those he's left behind, it is a blessing.

Lillian, I was so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a warm. loving, and gracious person. My heart goes out to you for your loss of a great partner in life, to the children for their loss of a great dad and all of the grandchildren, for their loss of another grandparent. I will pray for all of you.
