We are very sorry to hear of MJ's passing. She was always full of life, and it was nice to see her at our wedding two years ago.

I met MJ working in the ER at Children's Hospital. She was a hard worker and was always kind and compassionate to others. We had many wonderful talks about the Lord and our families. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time, but as she believed- so do I. We will see her again some day!

Through my years in EMS she was one of the people that always stood out in my mind because of her integrity, kindness and love for what she did. My prayers and thoughts are with her family through this hard time. Like everyone whose lives were touched by MJ, I will think of her with a tear in my eye and a smile on my face.

Mary Jane,
You were only in our life for a brief moment of time but what an inspiration it has been to know you and Mike. Mary Jane smiled as if she wasn't sick at all. It actually took my wife and I a couple weeks to even realize she was sick. I believe its because her body was sick but her soul was alive and on fire. And all we could see was that joy she had all over her; that undeniable faith and trust she had in her Lord. It is because of that faith and trust that we will never forget Mary Jane and will continue to be inspired as we walk the walk God has prepared for us with no fear.
With love,
Joseph and Aprilee Carey

I worked with MJ at LaSalle Ambulance. Since the average age in the company was 25 at the time, MJ took on the role of a "mother figure" to the younger and less experienced employees. She was a compassionate caregiver and mentor to many. On July 29, 2006, I lost my mom and best friend to pancreatic cancer. I understand your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with MJ and her familty and friends.

I first met MJ while she was a paramedic on Mercy Flight. She joined our ER team shortly after that. We developed a good friendship and she helped me teach CPR. Through the years, we discovered that we liked to do crossword puzzels, so I would bring in the ones from The Buffalo News and we would share them back and forth on our breaks. MJ would call Mike and ask him for an occassional answer, too. We only cheated when neither of us could think of any more answers. MJ helped me personally on a couple of occassions talking about Jesus, too. We could talk about anything. We started to share recipes. Our last meal we had was a cajun shrimp dinner that we shared with Jackie, another co-worker. I will miss my friend MJ and believe that she is happy working in the Heavenly Soup Kitchen with her mom and mine.

My Aunt Mary was a wonderful, beautiful lady. She was the most caring, thoughtful and open hearted person I have honestly ever known. My family and I are going to miss her so much that words could never express, and family get together's are never going to be the same without her. Her and I share a very special bond, that she always reminded me about, the passing of our Babci. Atleast we all can rest a little easier knowing she is up there with her mom & dad, as well as many other family members and not in pain any longer. I guess god needed another loving beautiful angel up there....XOXO

Very sad to hear of MJ's passing. She cared so much for others. I had the pleasure of working with MJ at LaSalle / Rural Metro / Mercy Flight for 10+ years. She was truly a dedicated professional.

My condolences to MJ's family. I will always remember her. She was not only a friend and co-worker but my mentor as a young Paramedic with LaSalle Ambulance. As an Air Evac partner we traveled throughout the US and I learned a great deal from her. We shared while working many ups & downs. There were happy times and tragic. She had much compassion for what ever she did. She was a wonderful person inside and out. I will miss her.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I had the honor of working with MJ, back in the 80's on Mercy Flight, and the one memory I will never forget is that she was the most caring person I have ever known. May God bless the family, and friends as we all cherish the memories.

MJ was not only a coworker, but a dear friend of mine. She was always there to help me with anything I needed. I am going to miss her and will always hold her dear in my heart. I am honored to have had a chance of having her be a part of my life. I will always remember the chats and laughs we shared.
May she rest in peace.
To the family, my sincere sympathy for your loss.

My heart is heavy and my head filled with memories. Not recent memories but picnics, birthdays and cook-outs that took place during the 50's and early 60's. Fun and carefree times. I don't think back to my childhood without thinking about the entire Prelewicz family. You are all in my prayers.
