Edward Jurka Obituary

JURKA - Edward L. July 31, 2008; beloved husband of Mary (nee Gora); devoted father of Christine (Lawrence) Palermo, Linda (Stanley) Kopiasz, Peter (Tyanne) and Paul (Phyllis) Jurka; brother of Helen Malke; also survived by 15 grand and 18 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will be present Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Monday at 8:15 AM and at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church at 9 AM. Edward was a lifelong member of SS Peter & Paul Athletic Club Inc. Flowers gratefully declined.

Dear Mary and family,
Our hearts are with you at this time. We are grateful and happy to have had the opportunity to visit Ed recently. Mary, both of you will always hold a dear place in our hearts. God's peace and all-sufficient grace be with you with each new day. And may His joy fill you knowing you'll one day see Ed again.
