Gordon Miller Obituary

MILLER - Gordon L. Age 72, of the Town of Amherst and formerly of the Town of Tonawanda, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at his residence, while under the care of Hospice, beloved husband of 34 years of Carol A. (nee BrownJohn) Miller; father of Lindsay Miller, Lisa (Adrian) Humphrey, Gordon and Michelle; loving grandfather of Raegan, Mariah, Zachary and Nora; brother of Diane (Marvin) Vaughn and the late Lauraine Ellsworth; stepbrother of Larry, Lea and Gail; also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Mr. Miller was a veteran of both the US Marines and the US Army. Arrangements by JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., City of Tonawanda.

Dear Carol, Lisa, Lindsay, Adrian & Raegan: Ross contacted us to let us know about Gordy's passing and our hearts go out to all of you. The love you have for each other is evident, allow that to help you through this very sad time. We can picture Gordy sitting on the screen porch in Canada listening to his radio, he has a cocktail in his hand, the same as we did. He was a good man! Aunt Carol, and Lisa and Lindsay, I am totally sorry to hear about Uncle Gordy, he is now looking down at us from heaven, He was like a Uncle to me and it is so hard to believe that he is gone but he will never be forgotten. If you guys need anything just let us know ok, you have my mom's number and don't hesitate to give her a call ok. May God be with you and the family threw this troubling time. We love you all.
