SISTER MARY DOROTHY BOGDANOWICZ, FSSJ (dorothy Victoria) August 9, 2008, loving daughter of the late Adam and the late Veronica (nee Andrzejewski) Bogdanowicz; loving sister of the late Joseph (late Sally) Bogdanowicz, late Veronica (late John) Przemielewski, late Walter (late Emile) Bogdanowicz, late Sister Mary Sylvina, FSSJ, the late Rev. Casimir, OFM CONV., late Mary (late Stanley) Malczewski, Barbara, late Martin, late Rose (late Ed) Lisiewski, late Julia (late Richard) Cerny and the late Benjamin Bogdanowicz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral Service, August 12, 2008 at 7 PM from the Immaculate Conception Convent Chapel, 5286 South park Ave., Hamburg, NY where visiting hours will take place Monday only August 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral arrangements by THE URBAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6685 Transit Rd., East Amherst.

I have fond memories of this fine Franciscan Sister, from my days in Shamokin. I was honored that both she and her late brother, Fr. Casimir, attended my First Mass in Shamokin. God grant her eternal rest!
