Gracie, I am so very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He was truly one of the kindest people I have ever met and it always made my day when he and I crossed paths. His smile and kindness will be in my memory forever, he certainly was one of a kind.

I've had the pleasure of working with Carl for quite a while at our monthly collection counting. He was a sweet and gentle man with a beautiful smile and a lot of patience with me when I didn't know what the heck I was doing and ended up confusing both him and me. When I was asked to fill in his spot in our group because he was ill, I almost felt like a traitor. I prayed he would get better and come back to his rightful place at the head of the table. Even though I know he's in a better place in Christ's arms, I will miss him and think of him every time I try to continue the work he used to do. My heart is with you in your loss.
